Hips Over Heels

One of the most powerful adjustments you can make is to shift your hips back so the head of the femur is lined up with the malleolus (ankle bone) as in the photo. Doing this puts the work into your hamstrings (upper back of the leg) and glutes (butt). It also takes the work out of your quadriceps (upper front of the leg).
